How long have you been in business?
We have been doing this since 2005. We have done over 100 successful shows since then and continue to add more and more satisfied customers.

How does Anthem Entertainment's pricing compare to other companies?
Our pricing is fair and competitive. You will find most companies charge between $80 and $190 an hour. We never charge as much as that and never more than $800 for weddings.

How long does it take you to set up?
It takes approximately about 30-45 minutes to set up. We typically arrive 1 hour before the event is scheduled to begin. We are usually playing music before your guests even arrive.

Do you charge for set up?
We charge only the time that we are playing. Set up and take down is on our time, not yours.

How much advance do you need for booking a job?
It is a funny industry. We can have no bookings one month and be sold out the next, so don't wait too long. April, May, and September are very busy months. We book certain times of years months and even years in advance. Call or email early. Even if your event is next week, the date could be open and we would be happy to participate.

Do you take requests?
Yes, we work for you. Whatever you or your guests want to hear, we will play it. We try to keep unreasonable or inappropriate requests out.

What happens if it rains for our outdoor party?
We always encourage people to have a backup plan for outdoor events. We have a Pop-Up tent if the weather is just going to be mildly rainy - but this will not work in big storms. If you have to cancel our services due to weather the charge will be $100, if the weather is unavoidable no matter how many back up plans.

What does the price include?
Your price includes lighting, travel, setup fees and music to cover all ages. There are no hidden charges (unless you count tips :) )

Do you provide Karaoke?
No, unfortunately we do not have Karaoke service at this time - but we may be adding it in the future - if your event is over 6 months away, please inquire.

Do you handle announcements for the wedding party?
Our disc jockeys will get as involved as you want them to be. Unless you specify otherwise, they will co-ordinate everything from the cake cutting to the dinner prayer to the wedding party speeches to just about anything you need to have done.

I don't see my "special song" on your list, can we bring it or will you still provide it?
As long as we have a few days advance notice, we can acquire any music you require - however, in the rare case where we cannot find the song, you are definitely welcome to bring it.

Do you have microphones available for speeches?
Yes.

How much is the deposit and is it refundable?
The deposit amount is $100 which is due to guarantee your reservation. We cannot honor a verbal commitment. Due to the nature of our business, the deposit is non refundable under any circumstance. However, at Anthem Entertainment, we will allow you to retain a credit with our company if the event is cancelled 90 days prior to the event. If cancelled after 90 days, the deposit is forfeited with no credit.

Why are your prices so low compared to other DJ's I have called?
We started the business in 2005 for fun. Times have forced us to raise rates slightly, but we still enjoy this business greatly and feel that paying $900-$1500 for a DJ is highway robbery. We believe you can get the same quality from our company and save you a few dollars along the way.

Do we get to select the music you play?
Of course - a wedding itinerary form is sent out with your intro package which you can personalize in as much detail as you would like; exactly what songs and music you would like to hear through the night and we take guest's requests.

How far will you travel?
We will travel anywhere in Massachusetts or Rhode Island for no charge. Anywhere else in New England, we are happy to go - but will charge a $50 travel fee.
